Kate Middleton Debuts an Unexpected DIY Hairstyle on a Royal Outing

Later in the day she continued her official duties, stopping at Wakefield Trinity, a local rugby league club, where she chatted with teenage players. (The Princess is a patron of rugby league and a noted fan of the sport.)

She ended up overhauling her look, opting for DIY braids and an outdoor look, and went on a guided walk with Mind Over Mountains, a charity that combines nature, exercise and mental health support to promote overall wellness. For the event, the princess wore a “Really Wild Baker Boy” hat, an Irish Dubary olive jacket and Berghaus walking shoes. (Nature walks also fit perfectly with Kate’s recent video message about the healing power of nature.) Multiple hair and outfit changes? It’s all in a day’s work for the Princess of Wales.
