Among the top 24, 42 contestants are still at the remaining 20 attractions, and the singers face a duet challenge that tests their endurance, chemistry and vocal control.

Jelly Roll has become one of the biggest breakthrough stars of country music, and he is not just a coach from off-field – he helped raise the emotional stakes for the episode. After contestants Breanna Nix and Rylie O’Neill made their shared experience as mothers and performed the “Grantitude” of Brandon Lake’s Christian worship anthem, Jelly Roll paused the judge’s feedback, making their feedback make their live songwriter himself live.

“That’s the most gorgeous ‘gratitude’ I’ve ever heard,” Lake said.

Carrie Underwood clearly praised the two women. “I know how difficult it is to get into the entertainment industry and bring you confidence. It’s a brave thing…I want to tell you, I’m proud of you.”

Only one person can move forward, and both performances resonated with each other, while the judge brought Breanna Nix into the top 24, prompting her to fall to the stage in tears.

Elsewhere, it was controversial when Backstreet Boys’Brian Littrell’s son Baylee Littrell performed with outstanding singer Keilene. When Keilene offered a powerful version of “Shallow”, the judge focused on Baylee’s performance abilities with his partners.

“It’s not a consistent decision,” Underwood warned him. “So move forward and I need you to strengthen it.”

The last top 24 include Artis, Ché, Breanna Nix, Slater Nalley, Olivier Bergeron, etc. Their next stop? Aulani Resort in Hawaii, performs on ABC from April 13 to 14.

Speech Billboard In a recent sit-down interview, Jelly Roll said: “Hollywood Week is more chaotic than you see on TV. The episodes are very chaotic, but the camera can’t capture all the chaos.”

“I like it because it reminds me of the music business. It’s real. What they’ve been happening in our business. I can’t wait for the world to see this – when the kids pick the songs that are headed by their heads, the show took me into my songs, so I looked at their songs. I picked their suggestions.
