The choker trend is dying down and we’re back to normal length necklaces. However, it is the choker style accessory that is set to make a comeback in the coming year: statement and, most importantly, body. (Not the bag!) In 2024 and 2025, bag charms entered the zeitgeist and quickly became a must-have for handbags. In 2025, people have taken things up a notch and secured Labubus, sometimes in sizes that rival the bags clipped to them.
This year, industry insiders hope the man will have more accessories. Fashion Editors are on the lookout for more brooches and “big combs,” inspired by The Row’s pre-fall lookbook, in which models’ hair was styled into artistic updos and held in place by a series of hair combs. The likelihood of the latter trend is slim (it’s a difficult style to master at home), but both predictions suggest ways to add quirkiness and personalization to outfits at a time when people are tired of the same. Men should also lean towards this accessory.
