Celebrities love to surprise us with fresh bobs, and this week it’s French actress Isabelle Huppert’s turn. The star arrived to pose for photos at the 2026 Berlin Film Festival on Monday with her usual shoulder-length waves, and just hours later walked the red carpet with a sleek, angular bob.
Huppert is in Berlin promoting her new film, bloody countessa fantasy horror film directed by Ulrike Oettinger. After showing up to the initial photo shoot on Monday afternoon in messy waves with a tousled middle and a mix of gray on top, Huppert went on to style a total of 180 times, enlisting hairstylist John Nollet (whose clients include Pamela Anderson and Vanessa Paradis) to shave a few inches off the length ahead of the night’s premiere. The actress paired her sharp new bob with a black ball skirt, shirt and tie.
