Inside Universal Music Group’s Grammys After-Party with Katseye, Lola Young, and History-Making HUNTR/X

The party didn’t stop after the Grammy Awards on Sunday, and by midnight the festivities were still in full swing. After the awards ceremony, the new winners and more than 500 industry insiders quickly changed their clothes and headed to the California desert sunset-themed after-party hosted by Universal Music Group in Niasi.

HUNTR/X’s EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami strolled into the party around 12:30 p.m. The trio are on cloud nine after their historic victory as goldwhose hits came from Korean popular demon hunter, Becoming the first K-Pop song to win a Grammy just hours earlier (for Best Song for Visual Media.) Nuna and Ami immediately hit the dance floor, twirling and swaying to Janet Jackson’s vocals. Together again. Later, they took photos with EJAE and accepted congratulations from the guests. “I’m proud we won,” EJAE said Fashion. “Today is a celebration of music that unites all cultures and we need it now. It’s a huge honor!”

British singer-songwriter Lola Young arrived at the celebration with a friend, excited to win her first Grammy. recognition messy Winning the Best Pop Solo Performance award was no mean feat for the newcomer, as she was up against heavyweights like Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga and Chappelle Rowan. Still unnerved, Yang gleefully danced to the DJ’s hip-hop playlist before catching up to Shania Twain. The two had a lively conversation and posed for the camera, with Twain proudly and playfully grabbing Yang’s face. “Tonight is the best night of my life,” Young said.

Six members of Katseye also appeared. Although the band didn’t win Best New Artist or Best Pop Duo Performance, they were still in good spirits. Each member – Sofia, Manon, Daniela, Laura, Megan and Yuncai – changed out of their Ludovic de Saint Sernin looks from earlier in the night and donned different colored outfits, ready for the dance floor.

Guests including Martha Stewart, Paris Jackson, J Balvin and Suki Waterhouse socialized next to giant cacti, dried plants and large abstract ceiling installations while enjoying a Southern California-style plant-based menu including veggie burgers, zucchini fries, vegan pizza and charred green beans. Meanwhile, in a private area, Universal Music Group CEO Lucian Grainge (also Sofia Richie’s father-in-law) was watching the scene with Executive Vice President Michelle Anthony. At 1 a.m., the party was still bustling with many musicians slowly ending the biggest night.
