Each year, the South by Southwest Film and Television Festival (SXSW) brings together an exciting cast of actors and filmmakers in Austin, Texas. This weekend, actor Avantika (you may know him) mean girls) is one of them, promoting her new movie, quite deadlyis a ballet-themed action film co-starring Uma Thurman, Maddie Ziegler and Alice Apatow.
“This is my first time shooting a film at a film festival,” says Avantika Fashion”, “For any movie lover, it’s a dream to be in an environment like SXSW, let alone to have it shown here. “

The star’s fun-filled SXSW kicked off with a kitschy car ride from the airport. “When I arrived, I took a karaoke taxi and it was incredible,” Avantika said. “Of course, I don’t know how the residents felt about me terrorizing the streets of Austin with my incredibly off-key rendition of ‘Valerie,’ but I had a great time!”
From there, it goes straight into work mode.
