H&M Studio Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear Collection

Facing a world full of absurdities and insults, H&M Studio presents a Spring 2026 collection based on the idea of gently breaking down the weird. The word means “something that’s a little bit off or slanted – it’s not centered in any way,” said Ann-Sofie Johansson, a creative consultant at the company. Linda Wikell, head of series at Studio, said, “It could be really interesting to think that a series made with this kind of vibe or intuition, because sometimes it feels like everything looks very similar today, and everything leads up to these archetypes,” Johansson continued. “So how can we make it more interesting?”

The team’s answers included asymmetrical cuts (such as uneven hems on slip dresses), raw edges, slits, shrunk lapels and exaggerated lengths (where pants puddle around the feet). The little bows on the underwear are made from shapewear material in pastel colors, referencing Japan’s kawaii culture, where the team traveled to this season for inspiration. As always, tailored pieces—particularly the funnel-neck jacket—were the standout of the collection, bland but alternative and desirable.
