Demi Moore’s waist-length raven hair is her signature. Over the years, though, she’s been fearless when it comes to hair transformations: a pixie cut ghost, this U.S. Army Jane Crew cuts, chic bobs, blonde bowl cuts and boyhood hairstyles, as seen in Elisabeth Sparkle substanceMoore’s extra-long hair speaks to swirling themes of femininity, youth and power. In real life, her extra long length is otherworldly.
Moore showed off a striking new look at Milan Fashion Week. When attending Demna’s first fashion show for Gucci, Moore sported a chin-length dark bob, side-parted and curled, with messy ends sticking out from the nape of her neck.
“I wanted to give Demi Moore a major transformation for Demna’s first show at Gucci,” shared her go-to hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos. You’ll know him because he’s worked with everyone from Kim Kardashian to Amal Clooney on their own color transformations and hairstyles. “I wanted to highlight Demi’s beautiful personality through her hair…iconic, fabulous, edgy, but effortless at the same time.” In fact, the look was 22 inches shorter than her signature look, which was so shiny that it looked almost wet.

The rest of her look was also a departure from the tones we’ve seen on Moore, who often indulges in sculptural, hyper-feminine styles and oversized menswear styles. When she showed up at Demna, she sported the same leather-based, body-shaping silhouette we saw on the runway, wearing a second-layer leather jacket and skinny matching pants. Her mini Chihuahua pilaf is her main accessory, along with a classic black bag and shield-shaped sunglasses.
