That’s how Harry Styles left his temporary home in Williamsburg this morning and walked across the bridge into Manhattan. Since the release of the fourth album, Keep kissing. disco, occasionally, The singer has become a regular in Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan, often spotted walking between the two boroughs.
The lifestyle change also shook up Styles’… well, style. While we’re used to his Brit-pop bucket hats and Berlin-hued rave glasses, the singer has moved on to a more grown-up New York look—at least judging by his sweatshirts. Today, he opted for a vintage white Nike pullover from the 1994 U.S. Open (the year he was born), paired with black stonewash jeans and tried-and-true Adidas Sambas. What better way to declare your residency than to wear it directly on your chest?
But it’s Styles’ accessories that really make him look like a true inner-city kid. He put a tall black beanie on his head, which seemed a bit out of place. His trusty yellow-lensed Jacques Marie Magee aviator; and wired headphones. His little ringed hand held a small cup of iced coffee.
