Gigi Hadid’s Bandana Scarf Proves That You’re Always Your Own Best Muse

Sometimes you might refer to a mood board when getting dressed, and other times, that mood board is you—and there’s no better example than Gigi Hadid. Today, the supermodel and entrepreneur stepped out in New York City wearing a “Wild Rag” scarf from New York brand Guest in Residence. She paired her paisley-print separates with mid-wash jeans, classic penny loafers, and an oversized suede trench coat—a signature uniform in her modern preppy rotation.

Meanwhile, the city is getting busy – the fashion world is gearing up for New York Fashion Week. Marc Jacobs unofficially kicked off the week’s schedule with a star-studded show at the Park Avenue Armory last night, and Ralph Lauren will continue the unplanned festivities with a show later today. While Hadid is less of a runway regular and more of a businesswoman these days, she did fly to Aspen recently to walk the ski slopes runway at Moncler Grenoble.

The model also returned to the New York runways late last year for the rebooted Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, along with her sister Bella Hadid, Angel Reese and others. As the show heats up, fashion fans will be keeping an eye out for her official return. In the meantime, it’s okay to focus on Hadid’s effortless off-duty street style.
