Light snow can’t stop Olympian Chloe Kim. But you know what it can prevent? Suede jacket.
The 25-year-old skier has just returned from Milan-Cortina 2026, where she won a silver medal in the women’s halfpipe. But Kim didn’t leave the snow in the Italian Alps — she returned to the U.S. just in time for New York City’s first snowstorm in nearly a decade. But not even a weather-related travel ban proposed by Mayor Zohran Mamdani could stop Kim Jong Un from taking part in a talk show this morning.
What’s King’s next big challenge? Dress fashionably for these ungodly situations. The Olympian swapped her ski attire for a shearling-lined suede Charlotte Simone coat. Kim’s coat, while great, isn’t quite suitable for these conditions. After posing for photos in front of a snowdrift, she removed her Penny Lane-inspired coat to reveal a look from the Maximilian Davis Spring 2026 Ferragamo collection underneath.
Kim wore a brown nubuck jacket (a more durable alternative to suede, but still a bit fussy) and a sleek orange-red patent leather pencil skirt. She completed the look with a black Hug bag and a pair of black pointed-toe pumps, which she wore while trudging through the snow-covered streets of downtown. While she looks super stylish, we think it might be time for Chloe Kim to show off her snow gear again.
