FKA Twigs Cancels North American Tour Dates Due to Visa Issues

British art pop musician FKA Twigs announced the cancellation of her upcoming North American tour after her production team failed to obtain the necessary visa.

FKA Twigs (whose real name is Tahliah Barnett) shared the news via social media on Tuesday (March 25), explaining that although previously in her current performance Eusexua The tour was “absolutely incredible”, and she admitted the experience was “challenging in production and making this tour more practical”.

Now, one of these challenges is that news of her upcoming North American tour has been cancelled for several days. The affected dates include the dates March 26 in Chicago, two dates March 30-31 in Toronto, and two shows April 3-4 in New York City.

“Today, I was told that production did not fill out the correct paperwork in time to get us visa to come to the United States and perform,” the singer explained. “So, that means I have no choice and I will have to withdraw from performances in New York, Chicago and Toronto.”

“For those who want to know why I had to quit Toronto because of part of the United States, it’s because of the complex beasts of routes and tours,” she added. “I won’t take it easily. Honestly, I’m totally destroyed. Totally heartbroken. All I have to do is be with you Eusexua for you. ”

She went on to point out that she was “exploring how and why this happened” and promised that information about the rescheduling date would be announced soon.

FKA Twigs has been visiting behind her long-awaited third album EusexuaThe record was released on January 24 and reached its career peak on the Billboard 200. Caprichansalthough this is her first full-length album since 2019 Magdalene.

The current tour is scheduled to take place in Prague on March 8, but subsequent dates in Berlin are considered as reasons. FKA Twigs is currently scheduled to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California next month and will be held in San Francisco for an additional date on April 19, although there is no yet a problem with whether the shows may be affected by her current visa issues.
