But for years, she seemed unable to overcome her fluctuating weight…until new medications and a new attitude toward weight gave her a breakthrough, which she describes in her new book, “Enough,” co-authored with Dr. Ania Jastreboff. They spoke with Jane Pauley about the genetically influenced weight range of an individual, and how to reset it. Winfrey also recounted the long road she’s traveled since starting her TV career in Nashville, facing sexism, racism and comments about her weight.
