There will be a breakfast event tomorrow. What should you wear in the morning?
I always choose a really good jacket to elevate an entire look – especially at the last minute. This could be a blazer that I would pair with jeans and heels. Otherwise, I love leather jackets or even oversized bomber jackets for a casual yet chic look.
What dress code terrifies you? What’s your solution?
Without a dress code or understanding of the type of event, that would have left me with a lot of uncertainty. I always prefer to really know the dress code. When I’m not sure, I stick to elevated and classic custom pieces that feel polished enough for cocktails or a casual atmosphere. I will say though, my general rule is to dress more formally and not too casual…it never hurts!

I like A pencil skirt, boots and a simple top paired with subtle accessories. This is a place I often go to.
What are your thoughts on masquerade parties? Go all out DIY, or politely decline?
I really don’t go that much. Usually my first reaction is to roll my eyes, but when I get to the point, it’s funny and I love it! Deep down, I love themed parties, but they do require a lot of extra work. A few years ago, I went to a party where the dress code was to only wear red, white, or black. This is one of my favorite parties because it feels very themed and the event color palette is perfect for the event, but it also takes very little effort on my part to come up with a look.
