DJ Peggy Gou Brought Seriously Cool Energy to Paris Fashion Week

As one of the most popular DJs in the world, Korean star Peggy Gou keeps a busy business. If you haven’t seen her play genre-spanning tracks from Seoul to San Diego, you’ve definitely heard her ear-splitting vocals on the radio… prompt: “(It’s like) Nanana!” Across the globe, she makes the world dance. One of her favorite destinations? “Paris is one of those cities that always excites me, whether it’s for a fashion show or my own show,” said Gou, who arrived in the City of Light this week for the fall 2026 Saint Laurent show. “I especially love coming back during this time, even though it’s chaotic… I love the chaos.”

If you’re wondering what exactly a cool-girl DJ like Gou does when she visits Paris, she shares her must-have pieces every time she’s here. “I tend to spend 24 hours like everyone else because my schedule is very tight,” Gou said. At the top of the list is naturally enjoying some French retail therapy while also making time to indulge in some sweets and art. “Believe it or not, I don’t shop often, but Paris is the best city for shopping,” Gou said. (With such impeccable personal style, it’s hard to believe she’s not an avid shopper.) “A trip to the bakery is a must, too. My favorite is the pain suisse, and if I had more time, I’d love to visit a museum like the Palais de Tokyo, which is my favorite.”

Gou is here mainly for the fashion, though, and last night she attended designer Anthony Vaccarello’s Saint Laurent debut in front of the Eiffel Tower. “YSL is YSL. I love the look of these suits—they’re chic, but also sexy,” said Gou, who sat front row with other stars including Rosé and Kate Moss. “The lace and sheer dresses were great too, but most of all I loved the venue – its beauty, and the dramatic music in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower.” Of course, as a DJ herself, she said she also took note of the show’s soundtrack, composed by French producer and electronic music legend Sebasti An.

Terry Gou’s VIP outfit shows a distinctive look. She wanted to capture a chic vibe that paid homage to effortless French style while also staying true to her own cool, trendy aesthetic. She donned a khaki trench coat, which she paired with a silk lace jumpsuit. “I’m obsessed with trench coats, but I’m even more obsessed with the underwear underneath,” Gou said. “When paired with ultra-sheer black leggings, you can’t go wrong.” (Don’t forget her pointy heels and tiny sunglasses.)
