Designer Ellie Misner Threw a Birthday Party Gone Wrong To Celebrate Her Latest Collection

“I wanted it to be more intimate,” Misner said of the night. “I’ve waited so long to launch this new collection, and coming back as a super-boosted version of Ellie Misner, I wanted to do it with all the people who have supported me.” Through this dinner, she could join them in the fun — especially with the deluge of fashion month already following her. Misner herself wore a candy-striped dress that mimicked the collection’s style, charmingly tied at the low waist with an oversized bow. she birthday gift.

Guests included designer Anissa Kermiche, wine writer and author Hannah Crosbie (who perused the wine cellar in a voluminous backless EM gown), Miss Jason (who has a new party collection coming soon, as he shared) Fashion dessert), stylist Phoebe Lettice Thompson, broadcaster, DJ and Brit Fashion Contributing editor ZEZI. They all mingled, many wearing Misner’s arpeggiated hoop skirts and cinched corsets, and drank a trio of Gray Goose martinis: apple, espresso and dirty spear with three fat olives. The collection decorates the walls and hangs on mannequins. The concise menu starts with a jewel-like tuna tartare as a starter, followed by chicken and sea bass as mains, and ends with a dramatic tiramisu and cascade of cream at the table. A QR code on the menu card showcases a short visual of the series in action.

Coming for Allie Misner? A short but much needed break with upcoming bridal and custom orders. “I wanted to immerse myself in the series and play with it,” she shared. And so the night ended: Misner blew out the candles on a tiered Dionysian vanilla cake topped with grapes.
