this Fashion The Beautiful Secret Bathroom sometimes doubles as a confessional. Not only do we learn about your favorite celebrities’ ride-or-die products or the secrets behind their signature glamour, we also discover how they’ve gotten a foothold in all this craze, and what their biggest skin woes are. What to share next? Daisy edgar jones.
The British actor, who took on the role of global brand ambassador for Estée Lauder earlier this year, is passionate about journaling (finding happiness is a focus in 2026) and skin care. “I had really bad acne for most of my teenage years,” she shared. “I have endometriosis, so my hormones are all over the place, but over the years I’ve discovered skin care that really works for me.” Products like übergentle Cleanser and Advanced Night Repair Serum (something she remembers her mother using) are key to keeping her skin clear and hydrated. She uses Lo-Fi technology to combat puffiness, and uses Beauty of Joseon’s Day Dew Sunscreen (spotted at a press event in Seoul!) and lip moisturizer to complete the skin care part of her routine.
Next, Edgar-Jones gives us a glimpse into her makeup routine, which “will last all day long and throughout the festival.” She started with Double-Wear foundation (which she reckoned would last four days at Glastonbury), then applied blush “on the cheeks, where the sun hits it, and then from my neck to the bridge of my nose,” before using makeup artist Jo Baker’s Bakeup palm-sized eyeshadow palette.
Once she’s done, Edgar Jones shows us her absolutely perfect bangs. “My absolute beauty icon is Jane Birkin, she always loved fringes, or ‘bangs’ as they’re called here. I think she’s iconically effortless,” she says. While some people grow bangs for unusual reasons, the actor says we should try them at least once in our lives: “Honestly, I think bangs gave me my career. I didn’t get a job, which made me sad, so I cut my bangs off like a breakup. Then I auditioned for Marianne. Ordinary people, I see. “
