Under the chandeliers and ornate ceilings of central Paris, Vogue100 gathered at the Baronne restaurant within the historic Hotel Salomon de Rothschild for a glittering evening dedicated to Lebanese fashion designer Zuhair Murad, celebrating glamor, friendship and elegance.
The evening kicked off in two adjacent salons, where reflective Zuhair Murad couture designs and champagne flutes created a dazzling celebratory atmosphere. In one room, mannequins displayed a selection of gowns, sparkling creations that epitomized the brand’s signature opulence and craftsmanship. In the adjacent salon, music wafted throughout the space as Vogue100 and guests mingled and reconnected to the lively pace of Paris Fashion Week.
Conversation flowed easily over cocktails. Manuel Arnaut, Head of Editorial Content Fashion Arabia talks to sisters McKinley and McKaelyn Guidry about their ski-inspired luxury brand, X2 NYC. Elsewhere, Arnault had a warm reunion with his Dubai circle, which included couple Omar and Nada Kamani; the moment felt like a private party transported from the Gulf to Paris.
Soon after, guests are invited into the restaurant to await a candlelit scene. Bathed in warm light beneath a hand-painted ceiling, the room looks like a living jewel box. Cascading crystal chandeliers diffuse light onto fluted columns, ornate stucco and towering mirrors; doubling the glow throughout the space. The long linen-covered table was arranged in elegant symmetry and decorated with delicate blush and ivory blooms – ranunculus, roses and soft greenery – by Emma Sosa Studio. Slender tapered candles flickered in polished glassware, and richly patterned curtains framed tall windows overlooking the Parisian nightscape. A warm welcome from home expresses gratitude Fashion Thanks to its long-term support, it set the tone for an evening of relaxed bonding.
As the celebration drew to a close, guests left with a small souvenir: a box containing a passport cover emblazoned with the Zuhair Murad logo, a poetic tribute to an evening when people from all continents reunited to celebrate fashion and friendship.
