By Malene Birger Copenhagen Fall 2026 Collection

This exquisite autumn collection is the first to be designed entirely by the new team in collaboration with Emilie Martinsen-Kønigsfeldt. The creative director said she wanted to pay attention to how customers responded and was interested in rethinking some of the principles set by the brand’s eponymous founder. One of Malene Birger’s signatures is the “extra” approach to accessories. Martinsen-Kønigsfeldt said the collection’s layering reflected the idea that “more is more.”

However, what stands out about this collection is its compositional nature, inspired by impeccable Milanese style Siura. Knitted skirts fell well below the knee, and long white coats with fur collars and sage-cut jackets were slim-fitting. The intersection of “easy” and more laid-back Scandinavian style with intentionality and tradition Siura The style is an interesting one, resulting in a pleasing collection.
