Bella Hadid Is Ready For The Year of the Horse

Indeed, happiness is Hadid’s current base level. She browsed eBay and Depop for some Prada bags she remembered her mother carrying. The California-raised model also partially moved to my hometown of Dallas-Fort Worth to live out her biggest horse girl fantasies. I also spend part of the time in Texas and my long distance fiancé calls there.

“When I first moved to Texas, I just put my hair in two little pigtails, no makeup, and went about my day,” she recalls. “But spending time in Texas I saw so many different types of cowgirls. It was so fun. Some of them had their hair blown out under a cowboy hat, full face makeup, and diamonds, and some of them like to put their hair in a messy ponytail and spend all their time with their horses. I guess I’m right in the middle of those two types.”

Life in Texas is peaceful but comes with personal advancement. She told me she especially welcomes this, especially in the Year of the Horse. “It’s been a year of growth and getting to know myself better. It’s been really important to me to trust my instincts, follow my own truth and see what happens along the way.”

while shooting beauty (Ryan Murphy’s body horror series about a drug that makes you beautiful but has horrific consequences) Hadid also learned something from her character, a supermodel named Ruby. “The entire course taught me how to release control and my obsession with perfectionism,” she said. “My comfort zone is when I have control, but I know I have to step out of my comfort zone, relax, and let go. At the end of the day on a shoot, beauty or perfection are the lowest things on the list, and that was a very important learning lesson for me. I will learn this for the rest of my life.”

Her next dream role is varied – she loves the action of playing Ruby, though wouldn’t say no to a romantic comedy – and then the one that comes to mind is a formative horse-girl animated film. “If they make a live-action version Spirit Movie, sign me up, I’m ready. “

Then, one of her happiest experiences: becoming Kay’s aunt. She recently spent a day at Disneyland in Orlando with Kai and her mom Hadid’s sister Gigi. She could confirm that the Magic Kingdom was indeed magical. “Seeing my niece go through life physically changed me,” she told me. “It brings life to my face, it gives me energy. Metaphorically speaking, it’s all connected. Life makes me blush, and blush brings me life. Sometimes, that blush comes from Prada Beauty.”
