To quote an iconic romantic comedy, Dove Cameron is 30 and dashing, Xi (Okay, maybe minus the flirting).
The actor and singer recently celebrated her 30th birthday, donned a gorgeous wig, attended a slumber party and announced her engagement to her partner of more than two years, Måneskin frontman Damiano David. There’s also an upcoming erotic thriller (she previously told Fashion, On her role in the film, “I’ve never done anything so nude or adult” 56 days), and starting today, she’s the face of Urban Decay’s 24/7 Liquid Stick retractable liners.
“Honestly, I was born a beautiful chameleon,” Cameron told me over the phone. She keeps fans on their toes, changing her hair color or makeup whenever the mood strikes. “I feel bored. I feel like, Who do I want to be today?” One thing that remains constant, though? Her eyeliner. “You would never, ever, never, ever kick me out of the house without eyeliner,” she laughs.
“I’ve always been a big fan of liquid eyeliner because it’s bold,” she says. Eyeliner helped her discover and transform her almond-shaped eyes. Lately, she said she’s been experimenting with colors and is intrigued by the burgundy and fig shades of Urban Decay eyeliner, which complement her green eyes.

True to form, Cameron looked glamorous in a red dress and classic winged eyeliner when she shared her engagement news to David on Instagram. Their friends took the sparkling photos while on a New Year’s holiday. However, she revealed that the proposal itself was a simple and intimate moment between the two in October.
“I didn’t wear any makeup during the actual proposal,” Cameron said. “I didn’t show my face at all because I didn’t know it was going to be this day. It was a really sweet feeling because I usually wear a lot of makeup and a lot of makeup. I’m excited to try these things. But in this case, I was just wearing my big T-shirt, my hair slightly damp, and no makeup.”
As for the wedding itself? Cameron shared a product that will definitely become a part of her bridal look: Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Makeup Setting Spray. “It’s the only setting spray that doesn’t fade, sets my makeup, and doesn’t dry me out,” she says.
