Anne Hathaway just kicked off New York Fashion Week The Devil Wears Prada 2 A press tour in one fell swoop.
Unlike Andy Sachs, who is sitting in the second row (or, more likely, third row) as an assistant, Hathaway was sitting front row at Ralph Lauren’s Fall 2026 show in New York tonight, and instead of dressing in a traditional way, the star opted for one of Lauren’s Fall 2025 looks: a backless halter dress made from a sheer black lace diagonal strip.
Model Lulu Tenney made her runway debut wearing a gothic-bohemian dress paired with black lingerie and black open-toe heels. However, Hathaway gave it her own movie-star flair with a faux fur and ostrich feather shrug, a pile of gold jewelry, black boots and a pair of Miranda Priest-like black sunglasses.
Andy Sachs never would. Thankfully, Anne Hathaway did.
