Anna October Pre-Fall 2026 Collection

Kyiv has a cold climate and many people lack water, electricity and heating. Despite this, Anna October and her team persisted, hoping to become a prerequisite for creation.

In times of crisis, people often look back on past times through rose-tinted memories. During a Zoom call from Paris, October said she had been thinking about her late mother, whose admonitions — “Anna, you are a lady, behave elegantly and in a ladylike manner” — played a large role in shaping her own personality. However, as October wrote in her notes, this collection was not based on nostalgia; Instead, she takes an almost kaleidoscopic look at her own childhood and finds some meaningful and enjoyable moments in it. For example, one of the floral prints references the pattern on the porcelain cup from which Lady October drank tea. Describing the matriarch as a wonderful hostess, October also designed a gold muse lace piece that carries the promise of pop, buzz and celebration.

One of the newer styles in the collection of party-ready designs is a strapless dress made from celadon satin, structured like a corset, extending in points above the hips (shapewear is like tulle?) and then cascading into flowing layers. The same material was used for the suspenders of a bias-cut dress, with a fabric belt shirred at the waist and streamers on the long sleeves.

October loves a dramatic cape look (a trend for Pre-Fall 2026), and there are plenty of them here, all light and airy. “The woman in the cloak must be the owner of this room,” October said. “The purpose of the cape is to provide more movement but also make you want to dance!”
