While London Fashion Week’s front rows aren’t usually as well-appointed as those in Paris, this season might look a little different: The fall 2026 shows coincide with the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards (BAFTA), which means a lot of celebrities are in London, perhaps looking for something red-carpet-worthy. The places you’re most likely to see them shopping are Erdem and Burberry, which are celebrating their 25th anniversary and last season attracted everyone from Elton John to Central Cee to Kensington Palace Gardens. We hope, though, that celebrity publicists will encourage their clients to look beyond the likes of Simone Rocha and towards a roster of lesser-known, dynamic designers including Tolu Coker, Petra Fagerström, A Letter and Caroline Vitto. (Think of Queen Elizabeth II’s appearance at Richard Quinn’s fall 2018 show and the halo effect it had on the brand.)
Speaking of royals, King Charles III himself was sitting front row on day one of Tolu Coker’s show at NewGen Space at 180 Strand. Things have already begun.
