All the Fall 2026 Men’s Trends: From Cortina-Ready Sweaters to Paul Poiret-isms to Prep 3.0

Parisian fashion designer Paul Poiret is a fitting muse for fall 2026, a season that brings menswear and womenswear closer together. Jonathan Anderson inherited the early 20th century designer’s preference for luxurious fabrics usually reserved for women. Julian Klausner is also obsessed with Dries Van Noten’s jacquards and rich prints. After the J.Crewgate incident, designers continued to use pink as a joint logo. They also opted for printed scarves, which they wore around their necks or even used as headscarves.

Workwear and sportswear are the two pillars of men’s clothing, represented by overalls and ski sweaters. Designers used masks and mortician black to acknowledge the world’s turbulent state. At the same time, they tried to calm a culture of chaos by referencing suits and preparations from the early 1960s that represented stylistic stability.

Prep 3.0 follows traditional guidelines, drawing on Jean-Michel Basquiat’s nonchalant attitude of being in the club rather than the classroom and adding some athletic touches. Corduroy adds an element of soft preppy style, while a button-down coat completes the circle.
