Alexander Skarsgård gives a brilliantly offbeat, impeccably naughty press tour for his BDSM rom-com back seat. The Swedish actor teamed up with stylist Harry Lambert in an effort to excite us all, putting a new spin on the oft-repeated method dressing trend.
Skarsgård attended a special screening of the film in Berlin, looking stunning in purple and a sparkling Dior sleeveless top. It’s taken from one of Dior’s fall 2026 men’s looks, with grape-purple and silver embroidery, a deep V-neck and lavender panels, recalling the aesthetic of 1920s Cafe Society women’s flamboyant attire (in fact, designer Jonathan Anderson said the camisole top of the opening look was inspired by a 1922 dress by fashion designer Paul Poiret). The actor paired the statement top with black suit pants and square-toe black dress shoes.

Skarsgård posed on the red carpet with his co-star Harry Melling, who plays his timid understudy in the film. Next to him, Merlin opted for a classic all-black suit.
