Divine beauty makeover! Model Gigi Hadid gave the world the cute and breezy bob in 2024, and now she’s ditched her signature blonde mane in favor of a much darker cut—what the star’s hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos declares is a “matte black mini bob.”
Of course, Hadid is no stranger to hair evolution. In the past, she’s experimented with cinnamon red and tried various different types of blonde hair, including a silvery hue for the inaugural Louvre Gala in Paris last March. But her latest transformation taps into all of 2026’s biggest hair color trends. Described as “jet black,” it’s “an edgy Gen-Z black with zero red undertones,” Giannetos tells us Fashion Only.
But is this true? Or did Hadid just bring out the shade in the form of a wig for fun? Only time will tell. This story will continue to be updated as we hear more, but for now, we’re excited to see if the brunette has more fun.
