A Homecoming! Loewe Marked Its Bergdorf Goodman Arrival with Dinner at The Odeon

“Well, you walk in and there are candles on the table – so you know you’re going to have a great conversation,” severance pay Britt Lower said upon arriving at the Odeon Theater on Thursday night. What awaits are not just any candles, but Loewe’s signature tomato leaf tapers, which give the restaurant the look and feel of a midsummer farmers’ market; a far cry from the March chill outside. While the festivities took place downtown, the real celebration took place uptown at Bergdorf Goodman. To commemorate the arrival of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s first collection in stores, Loewe’s full takeover of the department store’s windows was unveiled a day ago.

“It’s so cool to be back in New York. We’ll never come here again,” McCollough laughed. He and Hernandez, both New Yorkers who moved to Paris after taking the appointment at the fashion house, had crossed the pond the night before. “It’s a good excuse to invite all our friends.”

The crowd at Loewe was good. Around The Odeon, attendees were delighted to see celebrities from across the brand’s range. “There are really great people in the room. Designers like Jake and Lazzaro are always great curators of interesting, talented people,” actor Lucas Hedges told Fashion. “Like, I was at the Loewe show in Paris, playing Uno with Lil Yachty. There’s always a sense of ease and fun.”

Armed with Amazons in both hands — a tote bag in one hand, a glass of the aptly named cocktail in the other — guests couldn’t stop complimenting each other’s outfits, from colorful maxi skirts to graphic T-shirts and suede jeans. “That’s how I feel. You’d definitely see me wearing something like this in real life,” said sinner Star Jayme Lawson rocked the sides of baggy pants. “I like Baggy Pants These are my favorite pants. “

As dinner progressed, a light, collective feeling of gratitude began to fill the room. “Bergdorf’s has been an amazing partner,” McCollough shared. “They’ve been such big supporters of ours, so it’s cool to have this full moment.” For Bergdorf Goodman President Tracy Margolies, the feeling is mutual. “We are delighted to welcome Jack and Lazzaro back to a city so important to their creative journeys,” she said.

Margolies added that the decision to hold the dinner in lower Manhattan was a nod to “Loewe’s iconic downtown edge,” and that this special venue is part of the designers’ shared history. “We’ve been coming here our entire adult lives, so it felt like the right place,” McCollough explained. “Also, I heard Odeon is very popular now!” (There is a saying, love story Fans have flocked to the JFK Jr. booth since the episode focused on the Tribeca restaurant. )

By the time the French press got going, the chocolates were being passed around, the candles had melted to the bottom and the night was beginning to slowly but inevitably end. And, of course, the favor of political parties: Issue 10 Luo Yiwei magazines, and tomato leaf candles that stay bright all night long—especially lucky for those obsessed with the verdant scent of their rooms.
