She’s a star, baby! All eyes were on Sabrina Carpenter last night as the headline guest at Coachella 2026, and the pop star certainly didn’t disappoint with her dramatic performance. The pop star kicked off the first weekend in Indio, Calif., by transforming the main stage into a dazzling Hollywood-style set – with the Hollywood Hills as the backdrop, a long “Walk of Fame” catwalk and, of course, plenty of glamorous and retro fashions that harked back to old Hollywood. (This was Carpenter’s signature style, after all.)
To bring all of her top looks to life, Carpenter, stylist Jared Ellner and creative director Brett Allen Nelson turned to Christian Dior to create custom ensembles for her. The star changed into four different costumes designed by Jonathan Anderson throughout the show.
Carpenter opened with a few of her biggest hits: She performed “Manchild” wearing a red peacoat, which she took off to reveal a sequined red mini dress with cap sleeves. What followed was all glitter: Carpenter then changed into a gold sequined mini dress with flowing champagne chiffon sleeves. (very Cher, Very Studio 54. )

For her performance of “Bed Chem,” Carpenter switched into more lingerie and boudoir-inspired looks—wearing a white beaded fringed bra top and flowy skirt while performing some very sexy chair dances. Closing the show with more hits like “Espresso,” she donned her most eye-catching outfit: a bustier black lace bodysuit paired with a sculptural, edgy lace cape. Because at Coachella, it’s more always More.
