Milan Fashion Week is buzzing: earlier today, Demna made her Gucci show debut. Titled “Primavera,” the fall 2026 collection took place inside Milan’s Palazzo delle Scintille, and the show was filled with references to the Italian brand’s rich history. (Many of the looks were reminiscent of the culturally shifting Tom Ford era of the late ’90s and early ’90s.) On the runway, models like Vivian Jenna Wilson made surprise appearances, and supermodel Kate Moss even closed the show. (Wearing a Gucci monogrammed thong, no less!)
Of course, Demna’s front row was filled with celebrities. (During his previous tenure at Balenciaga, his shows tended toward A-list energy, so it’s no surprise that his debut at Gucci was equally star-studded.) The designer’s supporting VIP list at Gucci today was pretty eclectic, and still pretty exciting. The cast includes Oscar-winning actress Demi Moore (with short hair and her adorable pooch), Paris Hilton, singers Kim Petras and Shawn Mendes, models Romeo Beckham and Alton Mason, and more.
Meanwhile, designers Donatella Versace and Alessandro Michele also came out to express their support for Demna’s splashy debut. (Michelle is now at Valentino, but ran Gucci from 2015 to 2022.) We love it when designers support other designers! This is simply this Taking place in Milan this week – walk in and be seen, so who can blame them?
