Ulaanbaatar – Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg has begun an official visit to Sweden and Norway, scheduled for March 2-5. The visit started in Sweden (March 2-3) at the invitation of Foreign Minister Maria Malmö Steinegaard and was followed by a visit to Norway (March 4-5) under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister Espen Bart Eide.
During his four-day diplomatic visit, Minister B.Battsetseg will hold high-level talks with foreign ministers and government officials to discuss expanding bilateral relations and economic cooperation.
The visit marks the continuation of long-standing relations; Mongolia established diplomatic relations with Sweden in 1964 and Norway in 1968.
