Reem Acra’s dreams are bigger than ever. Fall 2026 is one of her largest collections yet, featuring 40 gorgeous, comprehensive looks. Why the atmosphere of celebration? Well, first of all, she just returned from Dubai, where she was named “International Designer of the Year” at the Dubai Mall Fashion Festival. This allowed her to show off her look on the runway, something she hasn’t done since her last Bridal Fashion Week show in 2018.
Retail turmoil and global turmoil aside, Accra believes there will always be a need for evening wear and fashionable clothing. This season she’s innovating with faux fur. When a woman is getting ready for a big night out, her coat is always the last thing on her mind. To eliminate that stress, Acra added removable faux fur attachments to the dress’s neckline and sleeves to add extra warmth. When a woman walks into a party, she can quickly remove the add-ons and hide them in her handbag or even leave them on to make a fashion statement.
The ultra-glamorous designer has never delved too deeply into “basics”; for fall, she made her first foray into Acra territory, offering simple maxi dresses in solid colors with barely any embellishments. Feather attachments at the neck and sleeves of a simple deep V-neck gown? They are detachable and come in two pieces.
