Nomia Fall 2026 Ready-to-Wear Collection

“It’s not for the ‘gram, it’s for life,” is one of Yara Flinn’s new slogans for her New York-based label, Nomia. As a native New Yorker, the mission of her Williamsburg store and product line has always been to create functional yet stylish clothing that helps city dwellers navigate their daily lives. She’s also deeply influenced by the world around her, which is why she thought of those taking part in strikes and protests this season when designing her collection. “I let my instincts guide me and there are a lot of colors like camouflage and even orange which is a safety orange,” she said. “I think a lot about getting out and taking to the streets, whether it’s through protesting or protecting our neighbors. Instead of being complacent and desperate, the Noemia Girls are defiant and ready to fight.”

So how does this translate to clothes? Firstly, the practical nylon jumper comes in a range of colours, from ‘safety orange’ to a more fashionable metallic white. All of her jackets feature hoods and elastic drawcords to really protect you from the rain, while the interiors feature a soft lining to protect your skin from chafing. Biker pants are another classic in the Nomia collection, with a dressier zipper so they don’t look too casual when paired with a fancier top. Dresses don’t often play a big role in Flinn’s fall collections, but this season’s blue satin dress had an incredible sheen that not only looked great in photos in her lookbook, but also looked great in person. Since the fabric is cut slightly thicker, it’s more forgiving and hides any bra lines.
