6 Spring 2026 Denim Trends to Shop Now

The birds are chirping and the snow is starting to melt—a new season is upon us, and there’s no better way to welcome it than with a new denim trend. Spring 2026 denim trends are likely to continue into the fall, highlighting many of the styles we’ve seen on the runways, like bootcut, skinny, and baggy styles, as well as styles favored by celebrities, as well as styles that have had a serious social impact on our feeds. To get an inside look at what’s trending for Spring/Summer 2026, we reached out directly to the denim experts at our favorite brands like Frame, Levi’s, Still Here, and Agolde to learn all the dos and don’ts of cut, proportion, and wash.

An Expert’s Guide to Spring’s Top Denim Trends:

Nostalgia is still strong in the denim market, but there’s no one-size-fits-all style here. You’ll find a mix of low-rise, loose silhouettes, wide-leg pants and Y2K styles, as well as slim cigarette-pipe silhouettes that nod to the ’80s. Bootcut jeans are also back again, proving that having a variety of styles is the way to go for spring 2026, rather than just focusing on one unique silhouette. What surprised us most, however, was the variety of washes—from deep indigo washes to soft grays (no surprise here) grouting Hype), warm browns, and sunset-toned yellow and pink colored denim—something we haven’t seen in a while.

Ahead, here are the hottest denim trends for spring 2026—each with expert-approved reviews and styles that are popular right now.

indigo rise

On the Spring/Summer 2026 runways, we couldn’t help but notice that indigo washes dominated. Khaite featured a slimmer, deep-wash pipe silhouette (slightly straighter than leggings), while Victoria Beckham went for a fuller look with inky wide-leg pants. “We found that washes are really clean: rinses and dark, bright blues with minimal sanding or drying feel the most relevant,” said Kate Keyes, chief marketing officer at Frame. “Ultimately, our goal was to create a chic, clean jean that complements the complexities of women’s lives.” Many traditional denim brands follow this philosophy, offering best-selling styles in dark washes. “We continue to see a strong response to the classic Slim Lasso, which is the style we built the brand on,” said Claire Lampert, co-founder and creative director of B Sides, whose slouchy barrel-leg silhouette gets an inky treatment for spring.
