Whereas Supriya Ganesh is starring in one of the hottest shows right now as Dr. Samira Mohan Pete,Well! — It might be surprising to hear that the actor is attending New York Fashion Week for the first time this season. The actor attended the Michael Kors Fall 2026 fashion show yesterday, alongside celebrities like Dakota Fanning and Mary J. Blige in the front row. “I remember being an outside (envious) observer watching this event take over the city, so I was immersed in it,” Ganesh said after the show. “I really love fashion as a form of self-expression, so seeing the variety of looks and styles on the runways is very interesting to me.”
Talk about a great way to commemorate her first New York Fashion Week: Michael Kors has a lot of glamour. “It’s a gorgeous, gorgeous show,” Ganesh said. “There were lovely interpolations between clean lines and smooth silhouettes. I love the palette of greys, reds and blues.” While it’s hard to pinpoint a favorite look, the star did have some standout looks seen on the runway. “I remember being completely obsessed with the second look, which also had a belted leather trench coat,” she said. “I was also impressed by how beautiful she was – so many fresh and bold red lips!”
Of course, given her front-row status, Ganesh also had her own wardrobe to consider. She said she wanted to lean toward classic elegance, but also went all out with bright colors, going for a pretty pink monochrome look. “I was immediately drawn to the pink suit,” says Ganesh. “I love the way it drapes – almost like it falls from the sky and falls perfectly on the person wearing it. The belt is structurally interesting too! I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it before – I love things that look intentionally loose.”
