“Elegance and avant-garde” has always been the mission of R13 headquarters, and designer Chris Leba also practices this motto. Many pieces in the R13 collection stay true to the same season, from plaid shirts to cool leather jackets. But Leba tries something new with each collection, eventually becoming part of the R13 essentials collection. The item this time is a fencing-style shirt with a slightly shorter skirt and a tailored fit. It pairs perfectly with the collection’s tailored vests and blazers, which come in a variety of prints and textiles.
Following the success of last season’s pajamas, Leba came up with the idea to go all-in on the high-rise pajamas concept. “I decided to create the ultimate set of pajamas,” he said. The red tartan iteration mimics the look of a two-piece suit for the ultimate in comfort.
