Netflix’s Big Hits bridgeton— based on Julia Quinn’s book series of the same name — returns today for its fourth season, telling the story of a wealthy family looking for more love in the wisteria-covered Mayfair estate.

This time, it was Brother Benedict’s turn to find a partner and settle down – his attitude was firmly in the middle of these two poles. (He is played by Luke Thompson.)
In Season 4, Benedict’s slutty single life comes to an end with the introduction of Sophie Baek, played by Australian actress and series newcomer Yerin Ha. Sophie is bridgetonThe Cinderella Agent; an outsider who rises from poverty to become kind-hearted and determined. Earlier, she’d slipped into a fancy dress party wearing London Fog sequins, a move that immediately captivated Benedict. The rest is (fictional, upper-class) history.
Below, in separate interviews in New York City, Thompson and Ha discuss everything from the show’s extraordinary visuals to its casting.

Fashion: Luke, what are your thoughts on this season, having been a part of the show since the beginning but now being thrust into the spotlight?
Luke Thompson: those manufacturing bridgeton yes Absolutely Control what it is and what they want it to be. So when you’re in the center of it, you can relax a little and let it all happen to you. I feel really lucky, maybe because I have had time to adapt to this world bridgeton And knowing what it is…but I didn’t feel like it was stressful or a big burden to lead the story. I’ve been able to learn by watching what others have done before me.
On that note: Have any of your siblings who have found a love partner been imparted any wisdom along the way?
That’s hard, right? because of beauty bridgeton It is regenerated every year. I can’t think of another show that does this, and while it’s very long, every season focuses on someone else. And because the characters are different, they embody the protagonist’s status in different ways. I think the same goes for actors. This is personal. yes johnny [Jonathan Bailey] and Lei Jie [Regé-Jean Page] and Luke [Newton] Everyone helped. It’s nice to know it exists, but I’m keen to make the mistakes I have to make and try to figure it out myself.
