Why Adidas Tapped Entire Studios for a Fashion-Forward Performance Line

In 2026, consumers are more concerned about their health than ever before. People are spending more and more time in the gym; focusing on health and longevity; and even planning their vacations around fitness and wellness products. They want it to look good.

That’s why adidas has teamed up with Los Angeles-based ready-to-wear brand Entire Studios to launch its new Performance collection. Adidas has launched several fashion collaborations under its Performance line (along with Adidas Originals and Sportswear, which are usually fashion collaborations), with the launch of the Adidas by Stella McCartney bar more than 20 years ago, and a more recent football collaboration with Y-3 (Yohji Yamamoto’s brand with Adidas). It has done many fashion collaborations with Wales Bonner and Willy Chavarria, but those are Originals. Today, consumers demand greater aesthetics to match a product’s technical capabilities.

“Training and running are definitely gaining traction with consumers,” said Aimee Arana, global senior vice president of sportswear and training at adidas. “But we’ve now seen this really interesting intersection where fashion and style are being integrated into the gym. This seamless, versatile lifestyle opportunity has emerged. In today’s world, not only our athletes, but everyday consumers expect not only the best performance, but also the best style. There’s no compromise.”

The collection marks Entire Studios’ first foray into sportswear. “The whole thing is about [Entire Studios] It’s that whole wardrobe. Therefore, we are looking at our next expansion plans. ” said co-founder Sebastian Hunt. It’s also a chance for Entire to make its own mark in the category, said co-founder and creative director Dylan Richards Diaz. “Personally, I can never find performance or athletic apparel that works for me. When I wear traditional athleisure clothing—which often defaults to the same visual language—it feels like my personality is gone. “

The two teams have been working together since 2024, resulting in a 26-piece collection that includes fitted fitness gear (women’s suits and separates; men’s tank tops and shorts with layered bike types underneath), topped with zip-up jackets, windbreakers and tracksuits, in keeping with Entire’s wardrobe ethos. It also includes a redesigned Lightblaze POD sneaker silhouette, as well as a new Ace silhouette designed in conjunction with the Entire team. The first collection comes in earthy taupes, browns and reds (“We always like pops of color,” says Hunt)—no neon here. The collection will be available February 5.
