Pastures new. After splitting from Michael Werner Gallery, dealer Gordon Venet Klaassen revealed plans to relaunch under his own name while reshaping the gallery’s structure, art news the report said. After running Werner’s New York space for more than three decades, VeneKlasen will take over the location alongside the London gallery, both now known as Vinek Larson Gallery. Werner’s Los Angeles outpost, which opens in May 2024, will close so the gallery can focus on projects in New York and London. Two long-serving directors have been promoted to partners: Justin Bilbierwho oversees global operations, and Cady Robbinsleads the London gallery. VeneKlasen will continue to represent the artists he originally brought to Michael Werner, while gradually expanding the roster to include more concept-driven practices.
