Inside Tennis Player Félix Auger-Aliassime and Equestrian Nina Aliassime’s Romantic Marrakech Wedding

Tennis player Félix Auger-Aliassime first noticed his equestrian Nina Aliassime in one of his matches in March 2019. “I decided to send her a message asking if we could go for supper during the game and I felt relieved when she was willing to accept the idea.”

A few days later, they had their first dinner date. “There is no cliché that sounds, that’s true love,” said Canadian tennis professionals. Nina fell in the United States, but he lives in the United States but was born in Croatia and his father in Morocco. “Two hours later, I told her that it was the beginning of a long and beautiful future, and within a few days we both knew we wanted to get married. I think this could sum up our relationship well: never a doubt, instant comfort, young and innocent honest, love and love that never stopped from the moment we opened each other.”

They were engaged on a holiday to Seychelles in November 2024. “When I was relaxing together on our balcony, I asked her to pick up the notebook from inside our room,” Felix recalls. “What should have been my notebook was actually a letter I gave her. The letter dates back to May 5, 2019, and was written a month and a half after our first meeting. It was a letter that I had lasted through a day for years, indicating that she was still together for a few years.”

Félix was waiting for the ring as she returned to the balcony. “It was a beautiful and intimate moment we’ve been expecting for years, and I couldn’t dream of it being more magical than before,” he said. “The rest of our evening felt like a movie because we went straight to the island’s sunset picnic.” When the day turned dark, they moved to the beach for a barbecue and called their family and friends to share their happy news.
