LaPointe Resort 2027 Collection | Vogue

Sally LaPointe’s personal style may lean toward dark, suave, and minimalist, but her clothes are something else entirely: expressive, showy, and just a little loud. For her holiday collection, the designer had fun with it all. “I’m going to do what we do best, which is our signature silhouettes, our colors and all the little glitz and glamor,” she explains. “I have to really push it. My clients really rely on us during the holidays.”

This season loyal LaPointe customers can get their usual feather and sequin fix (phew!) in bold new colorways (purple, teal, polished gold), as well as some reworked black options that are on the same wavelength as LaPointe himself. We’re seeing updated versions of beloved brand favorites, like the stand-collar blazer, now in rich bonded velvet for a particularly luxe feel, and sequined pieces are also joining the collection, like the day-out cropped vest and matching embellished jeans. The set is particularly appealing to younger customers and more modern customers who may want to consider evening jeans for this year’s holiday party season.

Animal prints have always been LaPointe’s best-selling category, perhaps because of her artistic, abstract interpretations of classic prints. Take this season’s slim-fitting mesh gown, for example: its turtleneck and high slit make it another perfect ensemble for your holiday party, wherever you choose to celebrate and whenever you want to stand out.
