Spring temperatures may still be mild, but Millie Bobby Brown knows that bohemian spirit transcends seasons. True followers of the dual Kate Moss and Olsen trend will wear ruffles, beads and embroidery year-round.
Spotted in New York City, MBB opted for a transitional trench coat and dress combo, wearing a beige cropped jacket with military-style shoulder detailing and a dusty rose mini dress with tiers of ruffles and cream embroidery from her own Florence by Mills collection. Her blonde, brunette bob was styled in relaxed, breezy waves with pigtails, continuing the bohemian spirit. Her rose-pink almond-shaped manicure also matched the look.
Just a day ago, Millie Bobby Brown was already packing her millennial bag. During Wednesday night’s Netflix Upfront presentation, she wore a last-generation khaki crop top of her own design, paired with a white bustier and skirt by Georges Hobeika. MBB is a long-time fan of millennial style, wearing flowy little tops, ruffled skirts and jazzy pants, paired with fun hair accessories. Of course, she can never live without her cushion-cut diamond ring from husband Jake Bongiovi.
The actress and beauty brand founder is also hard at work promoting her own line, Florence by Mills Fashion, this season, showing off halterneck dresses in citrus and floral prints and tennis-inspired papaya miniskirts on her Instagram.
The definition of boho chic is broad. Take the late, great Jane Birkin and her super mini crochet dresses and basket bags. Or throw back to the ’90s and ’00s when Kate Moss and Sienna Miller stomped around Glastonbury in denim shorts and lace tank tops. Today, it has been improved by the Olsen twins who love paisley prints, Anya Taylor-Joy and Lila Moss who love chiffon and ribbons.
