Tonight, designers and celebrities will descend on the Metropolitan Museum of Art to celebrate the 2026 Met Gala, dressed in their best interpretations of “fashion is art.” This year’s event is particularly special; that evening, the new 12,000-square-foot Condé M. Nast Gallery will be dedicated, which will serve as the Costume Institute’s permanent home. Ahead of tonight, the Met has launched a range of exclusive special edition merchandise to mark this year’s exhibition: The Art of Costume.

These items are now available for purchase online at store.metmuseum.org.
Also included in the giveaway is a series of hand-fired vases designed by artist Elif Uras, her 2015 Pregnant Halic II The exhibition includes perfumes designed by Jean Paul Gaultier. These additional items will be available in-store starting May 5th.
