42 Thoughts I Had About Season 3, Episode 1 of ‘The Comeback’

I enjoyed watching it Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. and Caroline Bassett Lately, but ever since that show started getting frustrating – and hacker Returning to HBO Max in a few weeks – I’m currently revisiting my roots and am very, very excited about the return of HBO Max comebackLisa Kudrow and Michael Patrick King’s sly and brilliant drama about a washed-up sitcom actress (Kudrow) trying to recapture the magic of the ’90s.

There may not be a show that really punctures Hollywood as thoroughly as it should (really, everyone here is crazy), but comeback It’s the closest I can come to a season – and now, thank God, we have a third (and final?) season. Here are all my thoughts on the first episode of Season 3 return:

1. God, I missed seeing Valerie Cherish’s crazy smile on my TV screen.

7. Definitely tasteful in letting Valerie sing the best songs chicago (which happens to be “We all got guns”).
8. Cut before Christine Baranski’s “Understandable” solo? Unforgivable.
9. I’m glad I’m not a professional dancer because that sounds difficult.
10. This random blonde girl makes me miss Juna Milken.
11. Hearing Valerie yell “Jane? Jane?” was scratching a specific itch in my brain.
12. Oh, Mark Mark! Love the ball!
13. Glad he’s still around.
14. WGA/SAG strike reference!

16. I love this cute gay guy who buys what Valerie is selling.

19. Valerie’s LMAO joins the picket line because she failed from the theater.
