Soon, we see Wingo playing soccer in the park, strolling past the corner bookstore at 93rd and Madison Streets, saying a fond farewell in the bustling Grand Central Terminal, and slow dancing in the Rainbow Room.
Crooklin (1994)

Another Spike Lee joint brand, Crooklin It’s a deeply personal, bittersweet project for the director, inspired by his own Brooklyn childhood (co-written by his sister Joie and brother Cinqué). Set in the early 1970s, the film tells the story of Troy (Zelda Harris), a little girl who grew up studying in a colorful life-or-death bed with her parents (Alfre Woodard and Delroy Lindo) and four brothers.
