IKEA’s affordable loveseat (also available in a sectional configuration) features an extra-deep seat and removable cover for laundry day. When I moved into an apartment three years ago I bought a larger Backsälen loveseat, which unfortunately sold out and I would buy it again without hesitation. It’s hosted many visitors over the years (it’s really comfortable – look again: the aforementioned deep seats), and the floor clearance is high enough to accommodate a litter box under the couch; a must in a small New York City apartment. For $600, I don’t think you can get a better sofa than this.
